Like the more famous "Red Books" of Humphry Repton, the present album sets out in a careful calligraphic display hand Kennedy's suggestions for the redesign of the gardens and (to a lesser degree) the house of F. H. Rodd at Trebartha Hall, Cornwall, the proposed changes being illustrated by eight large watercolor views (one with an overlay) and five pen-and-wash vignettes.

1 volume, 42 x 53 cm. 22 pages, bound in elaborate album of green leather with gilt tooling and silk endpapers.
