Like the more famous "Red Books" of Humphry Repton, the present album sets out in a careful calligraphic display hand Kennedy's suggestions for the redesign of the gardens and (to a lesser degree) the house of F. H. Rodd at Trebartha Hall, Cornwall, the proposed changes being illustrated by eight large watercolor views (one with an overlay) and five pen-and-wash vignettes.
